Tacofino is an iconic name in the taco game, situated on Canada’s West Coast with 9 locations plus food trucks. Our team developed an actionable social media strategy that would allow us to measure clear success and create a more engaging digital experience. We knew we’d see more engagement with one unified social space, so we migrated the location-based social media channels into one verified account.

The fresh new visual style and UGC strategy we developed, combined with interactive augmented reality activations, worked together to create a really tasty social mix. Our Instagram AR game, “Taco Toss,” reached 20k people and achieved a 10% engagement rate organically. Half a dozen styled photoshoots, thousands of user generated posts, and a lot of margaritas later we reached an improved follower growth rate of 5% and an increase of 60% in social referral traffic.
